Work on Windows 2003

Developers can run the NetVue server as a service on Windows 2003 servers.

Robust Content Component

Leverage a new NetVue component which runs as a service on the NetVue server.  The NetVue Content Extractor service extracts textual content of image documents using OCR technology running on the server. Eliminate the need to scan or OCR across the enterprise.  NetVue server provides a central means for providing recognition across all your document images.

• Obtains textual contents from any image document
• Provides full-text search of image documents
• Easily highlights words used in a search phrase
• Detects and highlights any word in an image document

Optimized PDF Display

NetVue server provides the ability for web-based clients to view Adobe Acrobat files and Postscript files without needing to upgrade plug-ins.  Eliminate the need to constantly upgrade all of the Acrobat plug-ins through the enterprise.  NetVue server provides a central means for viewing PDF files created across different versions of Acrobat.

Versatile Web Tools

NetVue provides a web application to configure the server and monitor its current status.  Eliminates the need for direct console access and provides for easy manangement by the NetVue administrator.

NetVue Java Viewer

Developers can use a Java applet running on the client side that requests documents from the NetVue server and displays documents to the user. Especially useful in mixed-platform environments, developers can centrally manage the viewer across Mac, Linux, and Windows web clients.

NetVue ActiveX Viewer

Leverage an ActiveX component running on the client side that requests documents from the NetVue server and displays documents to the user.  Ideal for environments where Internet Explorer is the only browser used.  Developers can rely on the built-in ActiveX capabilites within Internet Explorer and eliminate any additional plug-ins for viewing documents within the DMS.

Enhanced Annotations

Developers can provide users with the ability to annotate documents and then save these annotations, if desired, for future viewing. NetVue provides server-side and client-side capabilities to annotate these documents.  Below are the annotations enhancements in NetVue:

• Easily mark-up documents with 16 types of annotations, including text and color
• Any document format supported and viewable by NetVue can be annotated
• Annotations can be saved with the document in a separate file, allowing users to share comments globally
• Annotations support is now integrated in NetVue eliminating the need to purchase and install it separately

Support is provided at no charge when you evaluate AccuSoft's toolkit products, enabling you to judge their suitability for use within your application. You can log questions via our online support center, and have access to a Technical Support Engineer during your product evaluation period.

This is the base-level support option and is included in the purchase price of AccuSoft's toolkit products. It includes an ever-evolving set of online support services that allow you to quickly find answers to your questions interactively from our knowledge databasebase or to submit a support ticket via our Web site. Users register with an email username and password, which provides access to this secure support section of our Web site. Preferred support is entirely Web-based and customer-driven with access to updates and fixes limited to version-specific items only.

Preferred Support includes:

• Electronic submission of product problems and questions, and the ability to update and track the progress of your case
• Knowledge databases for our products that provide answers and fixes to commonly asked questions and problems
• Comprehensive product documentation including the latest guides and manuals, technical bulletins, flashes, and release notes
